Ray has retired from full-time practice, and his practice is restricted to matters of Professional Regulation.
Ray received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 1993. He served as President of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society from 2002 to 2003 and has participated in the work of many of the Society’s regulatory committees; he has also represented the Society in litigation in Nova Scotia courts.
Ray is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Bar Association and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
