Driven by the commitment to provide clients with meticulous attention and effective advocacy, Sue offers English and French legal services to clients. As an associate at the Fredericton office, she is developing practices in the areas of labour and employment, professional regulation, administrative law, language rights and municipal law. She has experience assisting in matters before arbitrators, adjudicators, regulatory bodies, and the New Brunswick Court of King’s Bench.
Before entering law school, Sue earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, economics, and management from the Université de Moncton. During her studies, she interned at the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly, worked as a research assistant for the Donald J. Savoie Institute, and served as a tutor for various professors.
While in law school, Sue was recognized as one of the top oralists of the 2024 edition of the Laskin – an annual national bilingual moot court competition in Canadian administrative and constitutional law. She also received numerous scholarships and awards in recognition of her academic achievements and community involvement during her studies, including Canada’s Volunteer Award – Emerging Leader for the Atlantic Region, the Denis-Losier Scholarship, and a Certificat d’excellence “Pascal”.
Sue also spent a decade leading provincial and federal non-profits, gaining deep insight into language rights issues, a wide range of social issues, and the importance of sound governance.
When she is not in the office, Sue can be found on the Miramichi River, powering through functional workouts, or simply enjoying a well-crafted cup of coffee.
