Tom, a sought-after litigator, mediator/arbitrator, and strategic advisor, brings a wealth of knowledge in civil litigation to Pink Larkin. Tom is not only a senior litigator but also a professional engineer who provides legal counsel and leadership in matters involving commercial and construction disputes, as well as product liability. A proud New Brunswicker, Tom leads the Saint John office of Pink Larkin.

Tom works with companies in the private sector, as well as public institutions and governments. His experience spans various industries, including construction, property development, energy, natural resources, insurance, and manufacturing. For many years, Tom has been recognized as a leading lawyer for Class Action Litigation, Construction Law, and Corporate and Commercial Litigation in Best Lawyers in Canada and ranks in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. He is consistently recognized for Construction Law by Chambers Canada, and as Provincial Litigation Star under Commercial, Product Liability, Insurance, and Construction Law in Benchmark Canada.

An alumnus of the University of New Brunswick, Tom was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1975 and received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 1992. Tom continues to be actively involved in various professional organizations, holding memberships in the Law Society of New Brunswick, Saint John Law Society, Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick, and Canadian Bar Association. He is also a fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and American College of Trial Lawyers.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Tom is actively involved in his local community. He is a former President of the New Brunswick Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, and a past Chair of the Board for Service New Brunswick and of Power Commission for the City of Saint John. He is currently a director of the Saint John Port Authority.
