Welcoming Summer Students in Fredericton and Halifax
We’re pleased to welcome summer students Kenzie Acheson and Emma Kamoizan--Latour in Fredericton, and Chris Xu in Halifax.
Emma is in her second year of the Juris Doctor program at the Faculty of Law Université de Moncton. Originally from France, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminology as well as a Master’s degree in Humanities and Social Sciences (Mediation) at the University of Poitiers, she practised for two years as a trainee solicitor at a law firm in Poitiers. Actively involved in the university community, she will be taking on the role of monitor at the Faculty of Law in the next academic year. Outside of law, Emma has practised ballet for many years and spends her free time with family and friends, reading, and exploring the province.
Kenzie is an incoming third year law student at the University of New Brunswick, where they serve as the co-president of the OUTLaw Society and a Clinic Lead for the Imprint Trans ID Clinic. They hold a Bachelor of Arts, Criminology & Psychology, from St. Thomas University. Law school has helped Kenzie continue their path as a passionate advocate for access to justice. Beyond law, Kenzie loves nothing more than a good cup of coffee and live music. They can almost always be found with their music playing and a novelty mug in hand.
Chris is a current law student at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where he was elected President of the Law Students' Society for the 2026-27 academic year. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from Dalhousie University. Prior to joining Pink Larkin, Chris spent last summer working at a law firm in Prince Edward Island, where he enjoyed assisting lawyers and developed a strong interest in litigation.
Outside of law, Chris is an avid racquet sports enthusiast and a firm believer in community spirit. He regularly hosts themed potlucks where he challenges guests to a game of ping pong, almost always emerging victorious.
