Harshini has experience assisting on matters in the labour law practice, the employment practice, and in human rights matters.
Harshini graduated from the Schulich School of Law with a specialization in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law. She received her undergraduate degree in the Honours Law and Legal Studies program, with a minor in Gender Studies, from Carleton University. During her time in law school, Harshini was involved with numerous societies, including the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association, the Law Students Society, the Peer Mentor Program and the Pro Bono Clinic. She received multiple scholarship awards, as well as the Muriel Duckworth Award upon graduation for her work on feminism in the legal community. Her passion for labour law led her to write a paper surrounding racial justice issues in the labour law context, which won the Nova Scotia Barristers Society’s Race and the Law Paper Prize and was later published in the Dalhousie Legal Journal.
In her free time, Harshini enjoys reading, writing, crafting, and spending time with friends.
