Celebrating 50 Years of Leadership, Service, and Impact in the Legal Community

We are proud to celebrate our firm’s co-founder and Managing Partner, Ronald A. Pink, KC, as he marks 50 years at the bar.
On May 9th, Ron, along with ten of his peers, was recognized with a Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Long Service Award – 50-Year Practising Certificate – at the Society’s annual recognition reception. This award honours lawyers for their longstanding commitment to excellence in law, leadership, access to justice, and service to the community.
A respected leader in labour, employment and administrative law, Ron has also built a distinguished national practice spanning governance, pensions and benefits, and health care bargaining. Over the course of five decades, he has earned a reputation for his deep knowledge, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to his clients’ interests.
Ron received his King’s Counsel designation in 1989, was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2006, and as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2010. He is consistently recognized by Best Lawyers™ in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.
Beyond his practice, Ron has contributed significantly to the legal profession through his leadership roles. He has served as President of the Nova Scotia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, Chair of the National Continuing Legal Education Committee, inaugural Chair of the International Development Committee, and Director of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association. He also served as President of the Continuing Legal Education Society of Nova Scotia and was a founding Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
